The New Art Gallery Walsall offers an exiting contemporary and historic exhibition programme alongside the permanent display, the Garman Ryan Collection. This unique collection, donated by Lady Kathleen Garman, widow of sculptor Sir Jacob Epstein is displayed in a series of intimate, interconnecting rooms and includes works by Van Gogh, Monet, Constable and Turner. Research your favourite artist in the specialist Art Library or relax with a coffee in our gallery café, Costa.
The gallery is also home to the Disco - the Family Gallery, an interactive space for everyone to look, touch, puzzle and play. The gallery has an active programme of artist projects which incorporates the Artists' Studio where resident artists are invited to create new work in response to the gallery and its environment. The gallery has a vibrant event programme including late night events, talks and tours, family and adult workshops and taster sessions and cultural festivals.
